Our Mission:

Plant Medicine Grown with Love.

Our Mission is to change the world by growing plant medicine for the people, empowering our neighbors to be good stewards and building community to grow love and abundance.

SHAKTI HERB FARM is located 15 minutes north of Boulder, Colorado in the sleepy little picturesque small village of Hygiene, Colorado. We are super grateful to have this little spot on Earth and we are dedicated to using our land to grow medicinal herbs for our community.  We grow medicinal herbs and farm hemp.

We adhere to the concept of Ahimsa,  using it as a guiding principle on our farm.  All of the animals on our farm find refuge and a home rooted in loved. None of the animals at Shakti Herb Farm are raised to eat or hurt in any way. All animals here are part of our tribe.  We are one.

Shakti Herb Farm is dedicated to growing the healthiest, most vibrant medicinal plants and Hemp available. We honor permaculture, biodynamics and regenerative agricultural practices.  We believe in transparency with our growing practices an share these with our Community Supported Hemp Members.

We are dirt addicts.  Soil junkies and all around nerds. We play in the dirt daily and believe that healthy soil is the foundation of all of life.  Our farm is dedicating to farming methods that honor and grow soil.

Community Supported Hemp Shares

Our Community Supported Hemp Program is the first of its kind!  We are delighted to use the Community Supported Agriculture Model (CSA) and apply it to our hemp farm.  We know that high CBD hemp extract is valuable and is an amazing plant ally against a variety of illnesses and maladies.  At Shakti Herb Farm we believe in bringing the power of this plant ally to our community in favor of offering full spectrum hemp extract to our community at a price point that is fair for our members and makes full spectrum hemp extract available and accessible to many and not a select few.

We aim to radicalize access to full spectrum hemp extract.

“ Today we are faced with a challenge that calls for a shift in our thinking, so that humanity stops threatening its life-support system. We are called to assist the Earth to heal her wounds and in the process heal our own - indeed to embrace the whole of creation in all its diversity, beauty and wonder. Recognizing that sustainable development, democracy and peace are indivisible is an idea whose time has come”

-Wangari Maathai

We are accepting internship applications for the 2018 growing season. This is hard and rewarding work. We hope to connect with people who love plants as much as we do, feel good working hard and building community one day at a time.
